    • Participants will be scheduled every 6 minutes each night.  They can arrive up to 6 minutes early and stage on standby in the lobby or on a vacant court.

    • Participants must be play ready as soon as their 6 minute time blocks starts.

    • One parent allowed with each participant (no other spectators or children)

    • Masks worn the whole time by all

    • Allowed a 2 minute warm up prior to official clock starting

    • Given 5 attempts throughout the season.  Best score used.  Order of events at each attempt: Dribble, Pass, Shoot.

    • Will rank players with highest score being #1

    • In case of a tie next highest score out of players other attempts will be used to rank

    • One person will track scores during each participant’s trial.

    • Points that can be scored:

      • Dribbling- each participant starts with 85 points.  They will have to dribble in and out of 4 cones each separated by 8 feet at a total distance of 32 feet.  They must dribble down and back.  For each second they use to dribble will deduct 5 points from 85 which will then equal their points for dribbling for that night.  Clock begins when they leave starting line and will stop when they touch finish line.  Participants have up to 16 seconds to complete in order to receive points for this activity.

      • Passing-Each participant gets 3 chest pass and 3 bounce pass attempts to a target set at a specific distance away.  Each pass that hits the target gets 10 points.  Kindergarten target set at 8 feet, 1st/2nd grade at 10 feet, 3rd/4th grade at 12 feet, 5th/6th grade at 15 feet, 7th/8th/9th grade at 18 feet, and 10th/11th/12th grade set at 21 feet.  Target will be attached to a wall 30” from the floor and 12 “in diameter.  There is a 1 minute time limit to complete this activity.  Any attempts not made within this minute will not be counted.

      • Shooting-each participant will have 2 minutes to attempt 4 free throws plus 2 shots from anywhere on the court.  Each made shot is worth 10 points.  Free throw distances by age are: Kindergarten 9 feet, 1st/2nd grade 11 feet, 3rd/4th grade 13 feet, 5th grade to 12th grade 15 feet.  Shooter will retrieve their own rebounds.  Any attempts not made within the 2 minutes will not be counted.  Rim height for each age group is: Kindergarten to 2nd grade shoot on an 8 ft. rim, 3rd/4th grade shoot on a 9 ft. rim, and 5th grade to 12th grade shoot on a 10 ft. rim.
