The City of Athens Engineering & Public Works Department is planning a water outage and power outage at 101 South Shafer Street (Graceland Apartments) and 247 West Union Street (College Park Condominiums) beginning at 8 A.M. Thursday April 5, 2018 until the work is completed. The work is being done to improve drainage and stabilize a water main underneath an AEP power transformer. A boil order will be issued when the water service is restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
