The City of Athens will be flushing hydrants on the following dates:
May 31st
Between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The areas affected will be:
University Estates Blvd. Area
Armitage Rd.
You may experience discolored water in these areas due to iron sediment in the bottom of the lines being stirred up from increased flow. The water remains safe.
