The 2021 Winter Basketball season is upon us! In lieu of a traditional basketball season this year, we will be running a Dribble, Pass, and Shoot Competition for kids grades K-12. This is an individual sporting event, there will be no teams. Cost to participate is $25 per child. Since we are not able to hold a regular basketball season this year, we are hoping that this will still give our basketball kiddos some court time to practice and hone their skills but in a safe manner. The Community Center Preschool program is designed for children ages 3-5 years old. Students enrolled in Preschool must be potty trained. Our Preschool is designed to give children a chance to learn in a safe, teacher planned, and active environment. Activities are planned by our preschool teachers to help children learn important social skills in preparation for kindergarten. Lesson plans are based on the following: Science, Math, Art, Reading, Writing, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Drama, Sensory, and more. Students in this program will have observations and student reports on learning development. This program is a licensed Day Care Program through Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, and will enroll up to 14 children.
