Purpose

The Board considers and determines appeals whenever it is claimed that true intent and meaning of the code or any of the regulations thereunder have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted.

Membership

The board consists of seven members (five voting and two alternates) appointed by Athens City Council to three over-lapping terms.
