The City of Athens announces repair of a retaining wall that supports the street and repair of drainage structures on Mound Street beginning on 23 September, 2015. The contractor employed by the city for this work estimates construction duration of one week. During the work, parking will be prohibited on Mound in the area north of 58 Mound. There will be intermittent street closures, but traffic will generally be permitted through the area. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
