LEGAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The City of Athens, Ohio is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified Architectural and Engineering firms with respect to design services and construction administration for the City of Athens Swimming Pool options. Proposals will be received by the City of Athens, Ohio, Community Arts, Parks, and Recreation Department, 701 East State Street, until 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 11, 2016. All proposals will be con¬sidered valid until 60 days after the opening date, although not accepted or rejected.
The City is soliciting proposals to provide environmental clearance, permitting, design and construction management services for the proposed project, including plans, specifications, and other construction document preparation for the City of Athens swimming pool options. The planning and preliminary engineering components will focus on plan development as well as cost projections to include not only construction but also ongoing maintenance and staffing and addressing energy-efficiency in the design. The City expects the project manager to participate in public meetings to discuss specific design proposals.

All proposals received will be reviewed and evaluated by the City of Athens, Ohio. Interviews may be scheduled with a minimum of three (3) firms, to discuss and evaluate proposals and to determine the most qualified firm. The firm identified as the most qualified will then negotiate a contract with The City of Athens, Ohio.
Five (5) copies of the Statement of Qualifications are to be submitted and marked “Request for Qualifications” and sent to the attention of Mr. Rich Campitelli at the above address.
The City of Athens reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to waive informalities as may be in its best interest.
