The City of Athens will be closing West State Street between Shafer Street and Miller Street (at West State Cemetery) on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. The closure will be from 8 A. M. until complete for a water main repair. There will be no through or emergency traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
