AEP work is expected to be completed after October 24. York Paving will continue working this week on sidewalk replacements.
The infrastructure improvements project includes upgrades to the stormwater system, replacing out-of-date water meters with new water meters, replacing specific sections of damaged curb and sidewalk, and constructing standard curb ramps at street intersections. Franklin Avenue will be resurfaced with asphalt once the utility work and sidewalk work has been completed.
The project is being funded by Community Development Block Grant funds and local funds.
