The City of Athens announces that a contractor for Columbia Gas of Ohio will close W. Union Street from S. Congress St. to S. Court St. at 7:30 A. M. on Thursday January 5th. The purpose of the closure is to conduct pavement repair from the new natural gas tap for 16 W. Union reconstruction. The closure shall be for no more than 6 hours.
