A public Open House to review the N. Congress Area Sanitary Sewer Project is scheduled for February 8, 2017 between 3 pm - 5 pm. The project will replace the existing sanitary sewerline between North Congress Street and Mound Street, the length of the project extends from near 93 N. Congress to Ring Street. The project includes replacement of the existing sanitary sewerline, replacement of the first several feet of existing sanitary laterals (the individual line to the home), new manhole installation, and select repairs of the existing storm sewer tunnel in the vicinity of the sanitary line.
The meeting will be held at the Front Conference of the City Building, 8 E. Washington Street; parking is available in the City's Parking Garage. Residents or owners may stop by at any time during the two hour period to ask questions and view plans.
