The City of Athens Engineering & Public Works Department is advising that BJAAM Environmental, Inc. will be removing monitoring wells in the vicinity of East State Street and May Avenue. The work may take place beginning at 11:00 am on Wednesday, 14 June, 2017. When the work is performed the following lanes will be affected as follows:
11:00 A. M. Until Complete – There will be two flaggers and a law enforcement officer onsite to assist while they remove one well from the Eastbound curb lane of East State Street, just West of May; one well from the Northbound lane of North May, just North of East State; and one well from the Southbound lane of South May, just South of East State.
