The City of Athens announces that Second Street will be closed to eastbound thru-traffic between Elizabeth Drive and Columbus Road on Monday, July 17 - Thursday, July 20, 2017. The daily closure will be between 8 A. M. and 4 P. M. for concrete curb repairs. The City apologizes for any inconvenience and asks motorists to avoid the area.
