The City of Athens announces the right turn lane and the straight through lane on E. State St heading west bound approaching the Stimson and Carpenter intersection will be modified for a sewer repair. Citizens can use the left turning lane to Stimson Ave to navigate around the construction and back into the straight through lane and the turn lane for Carpenter Street. The work will begin today March 14, 2018 from 12 P.M. until Saturday March 17th, 2018 at 4 P.M.
