The City of Athens will be flushing hydrants on the following date(s):
August 7th-9th
Between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The areas affected will be:
Richland Ave.
Hospital Dr.: OMH and ABH facilities
You may experience discolored water in these areas due to iron sediment in the bottom of the lines being stirred up from increased flow. The water remains safe.
