OPEN BURNING REGULATIONS AND PERMIT
City ordinances are in place regarding open burning within the City of Athens to help promote a healthy and safe environment for our citizens. Before attempting any open burning, or before placing a call to the Fire Department regarding an open burning event you’ve witnessed, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our current regulations by reading through our Code of Ordinances at the link below.
