[ARCHIVED] Update on Athens Community Center Programs, Rentals, Memberships, Etc.

In an effort to keep our patrons informed, we are sharing the most recent information that we have below. We encourage you to share this with those that may not have access to social media or the internet.

Memberships - We are suspending all memberships and will extend your membership for the duration of time the center is closed. You will NOT lose any time on your membership due to the center being closed. If you have additional questions, you may email ksauvage@ci.athens.oh.us

Unified Basketball - It is with a heavy heart that we are cancelling Unified Basketball. That said, we ARE planning and hopeful that we will be able to offer this program again in the Fall so stay tuned!

Youth Soccer - Registration is still open online and at this time we are postponing the season. Our current plan is to have a coaches meeting on April 8th, practice running from April 13-19 and games running April 20-May 21. This is of course subject to change. If the Athens City Schools close for the semester, soccer will automatically be cancelled and a staff member will contact you.

If you have any questions regarding unified basketball or youth soccer, please email ehelms@ci.athens.oh.us

Room Reservations/Rentals - At this time all reservations and rentals through March 30th have been cancelled and/or rescheduled. Our staff have contacted anyone with a reservation during this time. If you have an upcoming event and are concerned we are happy to take your questions or reschedule. If you have questions, please email vscott@ci.athens.oh.us.
We encourage you to postpone or reschedule your events but we also understand that this may not be possible and will provide refunds if needed.

At the end of the day, we want our customers here at Athens Community Center to be safe, healthy, and to know that we will always keep their interests at the forefront.

Stay healthy my friends and we hope to see you again soon!!
