Everyone is feeling a bit more like a house cat than ever before, as we all shelter in place for the pandemic. What better way to pass the time while connecting to community than to participate in the Cat Art Online Show, produced in partnership with Arts West and Casa Nueva! The show had originally been planned as a two month, two location, in person show at both Arts West and Casa Nueva for the months of April and May. However, this show has 9 lives, and it’s new format will hopefully make it even more accessible to the whole community! Please look for updates, as we plan on having information about donating to the Athens Humane Society through this event.
Details:
-Create cat art in any medium, and post images of your work to this facebook page.
-Make sure to label your posting with the artist’s name, title, and medium(s)
-The deadline to post is Tuesday, May 5th (Cinco de Meow!)
-We plan on hosting gallery shows in 2021, so please hold on to your work for next year’s extravaganza!
