[ARCHIVED] Athens city pool now closed for season; splash pad remains open through Sept. 4th


The pool is now closed for the season.

As of now, the Splash Pad at the Athens City Pool will be open through Saturday, September 5th. The hours will be 10a-7p pending weather. Saturday, September 5th the hours will be 10a-6p. If there are severe storms or heavy rain, the splash pad opening may be delayed or temporarily closed until it passes. 

Additionally, due to the early closure of the pool the following will be processed in regards to refunds: 

For season pass holders - you will receive a prorated refund as a credit to your account. This credit may be used for next years pass, rentals (pool, shelter, community center), sports, classes, memberships and many other arts, parks, and recreation programs. This credit will not expire. 

For punch card holders - These will carry over and be valid through the end of next pool season 2022. 

Dog swim will be held Tuesday, September 7th from 4p-7p.
