West Union Street Improvements Project – Planned Water Outage and Lane Closure Tomorrow
The Contractor will be working on a waterline tie-in at the intersection of Shafer and West Union Street tomorrow, August 12th.
This work will necessitate water outages and may include all or some of the following areas: West Union Street (between S. Shafer Street and S. High Street), Coulson Avenue, Shafer Street (between Byard Street and Moore Avenue), Roberts Street, Moore Avenue, Factory Street, Smith Street, Foster Place, Depot Street (north side only), South High Street, and 30 Station Street Drive.
The water outages are expected to occur at 8 a.m. and will continue until the construction crews are finished for the day. A precautionary boil order may be issued for any outages that occur as a result of the work. Please check the City website or the Boil Order Hotline (740) 594-5078 for updates.
This work will also necessitate the eastbound lane of West Union Street to be closed. Traffic will be detoured via Moore to Depot Street.
