Due to rain delays, York Paving will be extending today’s manhole work through tomorrow, October 15th. They will continue to raise manholes along West Union Street between S. Shafer Street and S. Congress Street. The activity is planned to begin at 7 am and is expected to be completed in the late afternoon. To accommodate construction activities West Union Street will be closed to thru-traffic between Factory Street and Depot Street, traffic will be detoured using Station Street. Business traffic will be maintained.
Parking immediately adjacent to the work zone will also be restricted at times during the project.
