Advance sales for vending spaces during the Halloween block party (October 27th) will begin on Monday, October 1st at 7:30 a.m. for Athens County residents and businesses. The spaces will be opened to the general public for sales beginning Monday, October 8th at 7:30 a.m. Spaces are $500 each and are for a parking space assigned by the Code Enforcement Office. No fee will be charged for the first space for charitable organizations, civic groups and non-profit organizations. If the vendor wishes to have electricity provided by the City there will be an additional charge of $100. Vending space sales will cease at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th.
